Uninor Starts Mobile Services in India


Uninor, a collaboration between realty giant Unitech’s telecom arm and Norway-based Telenor Group entered the already crowded and the fast growing Indian telecom industry. Uninor has announced the launch of GSM services in seven circles.

The company has introduced two innovative tariff plans:

1. Local calls at 29 paisa a minute
2. STD (national long distance) calls at 49 paisa a minute

The seven circles that Uninor announced the launch of GSM services are Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh East, Uttar Pradesh West and Bihar (including Jharkhand).

  1. hi i am an uninor user and i have been very happy with your service and your plans which have been really economical on my pocket.. but i would like to know if you are coming up with some new plans like free messages?? also when would you be coming to delhi because i have family and friends there and it would be nice and easier if they have the same connection too..
